Lookup Assistant is a tool that provides quick access to online lookup resources and desktop search with a single click. It can also be used to look up definitions in dictionaries, encyclopedia entries, and other third-party online resources that can be configured by the user. Additionally, it can search through files on the user's desktop, and perform basic calculations. The results are displayed in a docked multi-tab bar with lookup history support or in a web browser. The user can set a default target lookup point or choose one from the lookup context menu.

Lookup Assistant allows free access to any online lookup resource and desktop search by a single click in almost any application.
Provides with one click lookup to dictionary's definitions, encyclopedia entries and any other third party online resources you can configure yourself. Searches in files on your desktop. Performs simple arithmetical calculations.
The results are shown in the docked multi tab bar with lookup history support or in a default web browser. A target where-to-lookup point (online resource) can be set as default or chosen from the lookup context menu directly inside other application.
